Installing
Windows
Run Mailaholic-Setup.exe. It installs for your user and opens straight away. If Windows SmartScreen says “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info → Run anyway — this appears for new apps until Microsoft has seen enough downloads of them.
Mac
Open the .dmg and drag Mailaholic into Applications. The first time you open it, macOS may say it can’t check the developer: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Mailaholic. You only do this once. Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac: “Chip: Apple M…” means Apple Silicon.
Ubuntu / Debian
Double-click the .deb, or run sudo apt install ./Mailaholic-linux-amd64.deb. On other distributions use the AppImage: chmod +x Mailaholic-linux-x86_64.AppImage and run it.
Signing in
Use your Mailaholic account or mailbox password — or choose Sign in with your phone and scan the code with the Mailaholic app (Settings → Sign in on a computer).
iPhone & Android
On your phone too
Instant notifications with a sound per mailbox, VIPs read out loud, Face ID lock — and it signs your computer in with a scan.
